Electrical Practical Engineering 

Empowering the Next Generation of Electrical Professionals

The Electrical Practical Engineering program at Ort Braude College in Karmiel offers a challenging and comprehensive study track that equips students for successful integration into the job market. The program combines extensive theoretical knowledge with in-depth practical experience, using advanced and innovative technologies.

The Curriculum:

  • The syllabus is based on the program of the Government Institute for Technological Training (MAHAT)  and  includes 3 external government exams as well as college elective courses
  • Engineering Fundamentals:The program begins with in-depth foundational studies, including electrical theory, physics, and mathematics.
  • Knowledge Expansion:Students then move on to more advanced courses in electronics and digital systems, developing a broad and deep understanding of the electrical world.
  • Specialization:At this stage, students choose a specific specialization from a range of options, such as power systems, electrical installations, electrical machines, and more.
  • Final Project:The program culminates in a comprehensive final project where students integrate all the knowledge and skills they have acquired. As part of the project, they design an electrical system for a building (such as a factory, event hall, or hospital), addressing all details – from the initial proposal to the final schematic drawing.

  • Electrician's License:Upon completion of the program, graduates receive a certified Electrical Engineer's Certificate and an electrician's license.

Social Contribution:

As part of its commitment to the community, the Electrical Engineering Department at Ort Braude initiates social projects, including a special course for women in collaboration with the Atidim Association and the Israel Electric Corporation. This course aims to promote the integration of women into the electrical field, empowering them and developing their skills.
